Seeing God In The Driest Of Places

Although all our past resolutions stemmed from the Book of Psalms, and dealt with the character of David, in this broadcast, we will examine King Asa - as found in 2 Chronicles 15 - and see how he - like David - responded to God's command to "Seek the Lord." Prayerfully, through this study, you will have a greater understanding of what it means to do just that - "Seek the Lord."

I Will Or I Won't

"The seeking of God's face. God is ever calling us to this. Let our days be more filled up with this blessed work." In this particular broadcast, we will begin the new theme of "Seeking The Lord" as we deal with Resolution #8 as found in Psalm 27:8 which says - "When Thou saidst, Seek ye My face; my heart said unto Thee, Thy face, O LORD, will I seek." "What a contrast is this clear resolve to the indecisions and hesitations so common amongst us." (The Biblical Illustrator) The only way to overcome these two hurdles of "indecisions" and "hesitations" is to have a clear resolve. You have a choice! You can respond to God's call today to "Seek ye My face" with "I will," or you can ignore it or pretend you never heard it and in a sense be saying - "I won't." What will it be?

Trusting Despite Appearances

Like David, you can say - "No matter what, I will be confident." How is it done? By resting your confidence on the character of God as seen in Psalm 27:1 which says - "The LORD is my light and my salvation...the LORD is the strength of my life..."

My Heart Shall Not Fear

No matter what is coming against you today, your heart need not fear as long as you see God in His greatness and power and you are leaning on the past experiences of His goodness toward you.
